At least 26 people, including women and children, have been killed in a strong earthquake in Afghanistan’s Badghis province. The magnitude of the quake was recorded at 5.3 and Pakistan exoreesed grief over loss of lives.
According to the details, the Foreign Office Spokesperson expressed regret over the loss of precious lives due to the earthquake in Afghanistan and said that the loss of lives and destruction of property due to the earthquake in the Afghan province of Badghis is imminent. The government and people of Pakistan extend their condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in the quake.
A strong earthquake shook the province of Badghis in Afghanistan, killing at least 26 people, including women and children. According to the US Geological Survey, the quake measured 5.3 on the Richter scale and had a depth of 30 km. A spokesman for the Badghis government said that more than 700 houses were affected by the quake.
