A senior Palestinian source told Maa News Agency that the case of Hisham Abu Hawash, who had been on a hunger strike for 141 days, had been successfully closed after widespread pressure on Israel.
Palestinian sources said that according to the agreement, Abu Hawash would be released on February 26 without any extension and that he would be treated in an Israeli hospital until his release.
The Palestinians are celebrating this victory. Abu Hawash’s lawyer, Javad Boules, told Sputnik: “According to the agreement reached with the Israelis, Abu Hawash’s prisoner ended his hunger strike.
