DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar said that India has put the peace of the region at stake. The steps being taken by India will have a negative impact on the peace of the region. According to details, DG ISPR Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar while addressing an important press conference said that the purpose of the press conference is to review the situation in the region. The living conditions around the LOC have improved.

He said that India had martyred many innocent Kashmiris living in LOC and was targeting innocent Kashmiris in the name of terrorism. On January 5, 1949, the right of Kashmiris to self-determination was promised by the international community.
Referring to the Western Border, Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said that the situation on the Western Border was changing in the year 2021, during which a major operation was carried out in North Waziristan. The fencing work has been completed after the operation. We are fully focused. We will complete the fencing work. The fencing work is almost 95% complete. The purpose of fencing is not to divide the people but to make the people safe. The fencing process involves the blood of our martyrs.
