Facebook’s parent company Meta has shut down thousands of fake accounts involved in spying on thousands of important people due to mysterious activities. According to Meta Company, deleting the account will discourage spy and surveillance companies.
Meta has called them cyber mercenaries or digital looters targeting activists, politicians, journalists and other important figures from over 100 countries. Most of them are from Israel.
