During the meeting, the President of Russia and the Prime Minister of India reaffirmed their support for the sovereignty and independence of Syria.
Fars, Russia and India, while declaring their commitment to the sovereignty and independence of Syria and its political process, stressed the need not to interfere in the internal affairs of Syria.
A statement from the Kremlin stated that “Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed their firm support for peace, security and stability in Syria at the end of their talks in New Delhi.”
The leaders of the two countries stressed the need to respect the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Syria and to ensure that it does not interfere in its internal affairs.
