In view of the threat posed by Omicron, the NCOC took important steps to include nine more countries in Category C and to impose a complete ban on entry to Pakistan from the countries included in Category C. Negative PCR Report will be required for travelers coming to Pakistan.
According to details, a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center was held in which the spread of Corona around the world was considered and the Cat Travel list including air travel policy was reviewed. The second was taken in view of the global situation, after which 9 more countries were added, after which the number of countries included in the CAT list increased to 15. However, travelers coming to Pakistan will be bound by the Corona Protocol.
Fifteen countries include Croatia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Ireland, Slovenia, Vietnam, Poland, South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, Isoteni, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia, according to the NCOC. There will be a complete ban on entry into Pakistan from the countries listed, but the necessary arrival in Pakistan from the listed countries will be conditional.
The NCOC said that those coming from CAT countries have to get an examination certificate from the examination committee and for those coming to Pakistan full vaccination and Corona PCR test is required for those above 6 years of age. National Command and Operations Center The Cat-B list includes Germany, Trinidad, Tobago, Azerbaijan, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Russia, the United States, Thailand, France, Austria, Afghanistan and Turkey.
Passengers coming to Pakistan will be required to have a negative PC Artist report while those coming from CAT countries will have Corona Rapid test at the airport, passengers with negative Coronaripid test will be able to leave the airport and passengers with positive Coronaripad test will be quarantined for ten days. ۔
Travelers from CAT countries will be exempted from Rapid Coronet Test, but passengers coming to Pakistan via Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE will have rapid test. Pakistanis coming from CAT countries have to follow the Corona Protocol.
