Railway Minister Azam Swati has said that the Election Commission is doing its job honestly. He also apologized to the Election Commission and he has also submitted his apology. All institutions should respect each other. The Election Commission has reserved its decision on the pardon of Fawad Chaudhry.
According to details, a three-member Election Commission held a hearing against Railway Minister Azam Swati regarding serious allegations against the Election Commission. During the hearing, the Commission asked the Federal Minister’s lawyer where Azam Swati was. On which Barrister Ali Zafar said that Azam Swati is in Quetta, therefore he should be given today’s hearing.
The certificate member in the commission asked whether Azam was ignoring the Swati Election Commission. At the last hearing he was in the Senate but did not come here, to which Barrister Ali Zafar replied that Azam Swati appeared before the Election Commission twice, and now he has also submitted his apology.
Barrister Ali Zafar read out a written apology to the Election Commission. In a written reply to the Election Commission, Azam Swati stated that he had never tried to scandalize the Election Commission. Tried to make the Election Commission strong, I apologize if I was offended by anything.
In his written apology, the Federal Minister said that the Election Commission was doing its job honestly and all the institutions should come to respect each other. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned Azam Swati in person on December 22, excluding him from attendance. The ECP has also reserved its decision on Fawad Chaudhry’s pardon.
