Trump’s Secretary of Defense filed a lawsuit against the Pentagon.
Mark Trump, Secretary of Defense in the Donald Trump administration, sued the Pentagon for stoning him for publishing his diary.
The former Secretary of Defense has sued the ministries he previously headed for sabotaging the publication of his book.
Mark Speer, who was the 27th Secretary of Defense in the history of the United States from August 1, 2009 to November 10, 2016, sued the US Department of Defense.
According to the Hill website, Speer is trying to publish his diary and has accused the US Department of Defense of stoning in the process of publishing the book.
He, who headed the Pentagon during the Donald Trump administration, said in a statement that the department had illegally blocked parts of his book and that the Pentagon had claimed that the sections contained confidential information. .
Speer, who was ousted by then-President Donald Trump on November 10 last year, filed a lawsuit against the Pentagon in court on Sunday.
According to the former Secretary of Defense, the Pentagon has incorrectly and under the pretext of “confidential information” prevented the publication of “important text” of his diary.
“The hidden text is very important to tell the important stories discussed in the manuscript (his diary),” the former Pentagon chief complained.
Mark Spear’s book, A Holy Oath, is set to be published in May 2022. This book is about his memories as Secretary of Defense in the Trump administration.
The former Pentagon chief claims in his complaint that the Pentagon is illegally imposing restrictions by “delaying, obstructing and violating his legal right to publish” his book.
