Trump: I don’t consider winning the 2024 election because we will not have a country for another 3 years.
The former US president, while saying that his country has become a laughing stock in the world, said that he does not think about winning the 2024 elections at the moment because there will be no Americans for another three years.
Former US President Donald Trump said in an interview that he does not think about winning the 2024 election at the moment because there will be no Americans for another three years.
“A lot of good people are telling me, ‘Forget the 2020 election,'” Trump said, according to Newsweek. You will win, you are very high in the polls, you will win, I say we will not have a country for another three years.
He added: “This man [Biden] did this in 9 months, he destroyed our country. And I say, “Make America great again,” which was my theme, and it was supposed to keep America great … America is not great. America is laughable all over the world.
Trump went on to criticize Joe Biden for his role in the US-led operation to oust Afghanistan, calling the suicide bombing in Kabul that killed more than 180 people, including 13 US troops, in late August a “terrible tragedy.”
Trump also blamed Biden for breaking the record for the number of people detained for trying to enter the United States illegally on the US-Mexico border.
In another part of his speech during the interview, he said that the issue that his supporters want to talk about more than anything else is his denied allegations of widespread fraud in the 2020 elections.
“They want this problem to be solved, because without it they can not have a country,” he said. I used to say borders, you have to have borders – we do not have borders – but we do not have elections, we do not have a free and fair press. So this country has a long way to go.
