Graham: Biden is the most incompetent US president regarding foreign policy.
A Republican senator has called Joe Biden the most incompetent president, especially in foreign policy.
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham told Fox News that Biden is even worse than former President Jimmy Carter, especially after he left Afghanistan.
In this interview, Lindsay Graham said the military told Biden that if you withdraw all our forces, if we leave Bagram Air Base, we will not be able to defend what is left and the place will collapse.
He added that Joe Biden was the most incompetent president of his life in foreign policy and even worse than Jimmy Carter. Biden does not understand the nature of the war on terrorism.
“Biden believes we can retreat from these areas and be safe,” Graham added.
Lindsay Graham, a close ally of former US President Donald Trump, recently told a Senate hearing that she was looking forward to Trump running for office.
“Now is the time to take responsibility, and this must begin with those whose failed planning plotted the attacks,” said Senate Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who recently issued a statement criticizing the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. “Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Anthony Blinken, Lloyd Austin and Mark Millie must step down together or wait for impeachment and removal from power.”
Dozens of other Republicans in Congress have followed suit, noting that it is time for Biden to resign.
The US president’s decision to hastily withdraw his troops from Afghanistan, which led to the fall of the Kabul government and the Taliban’s takeover, has not gone unnoticed by the American public. A recent poll by the Trafalgar group found that 69 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with Biden’s decision to leave Afghanistan, and only 23 percent approve of his actions.
Two months ago, Biden claimed that 75,000 Taliban had been killed in front of the 300,000-strong Afghan army, which the United States had trained like any other well-equipped army in the world, despite US intelligence estimates that Kabul was about to be captured following the withdrawal of US troops. Equipped have no chance of success.
In a speech Friday morning (August 27th), the US president said that US intelligence had predicted the possibility of such an attack when US troops were evacuated. However, he said evacuation operations would continue in the coming days.
Biden lamented the performance of the Afghan National Security Forces in a speech, despite saying a few weeks ago that the Afghan security establishment would be able to defend the country against a possible Taliban invasion.
While the United States entered Afghanistan in 2001 as part of a mission called “Sustainable Freedom,” Biden also claimed that the United States’ mission in Afghanistan had never been to establish democracy or freedom in the country.
