Yemen’s support for Lebanon against Saudi Arabia.
Lebanese Information Minister George Qardahi’s remarks last week provoked a sharp reaction from Saudi Arabia, and Riyadh thanked the Lebanese ambassador for leaving the country in the latest reaction, and also thanked the import of Lebanese products to Saudi Arabia.

“If Saudi Arabia bans the import of Lebanese products due to the recent positions of Lebanese Minister of Information George Qardahi, then the Yemeni government will convene an urgent meeting and issue an order to prevent it,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, head of the Yemeni Supreme Revolutionary Committee, wrote on Twitter. I call for the arrival of Saudi products in Lebanon.

Ansar al-Islam spokesman Mohammed Abdul Salam and chairman of the Yemeni National Salvation Government’s negotiating team also wrote on Twitter: “Saudi insistence on a policy of domination and arrogance cannot hide the catastrophic defeat of the invasion of Yemen.”
“The actions of the Saudi regime do not frighten you, because after the defeat in Yemen, by the grace of God, it is a lion and a cop,” he wrote, addressing the “brotherly nation of Lebanon.”
Asked how he assessed the current developments in Yemen, Qardahi said: “The brutal aggression against Yemen, which has been going on for eight years, must stop. “What the Yemenis are doing is their legal right to defend themselves, and I respect the resilience of the Yemeni people in the face of this aggression.”
