KARACHI: Social sharing application SnapChat service has been restored in various countries including Pakistan after a few hours of shutdown. The service was affected, causing users to have difficulty using SnapStrex and experiencing difficulties.
According to The Verge, the SnapChat service was affected for a few hours last night, leading to complaints from users about the use of SnapChatrics. In a tweet, SnapChat Support said: Aware that SnapChatters is currently having difficulty using the app, we are looking into the matter.
However, the source of the glitch in the SnapChat service was not clear but it was different from the problem in the service of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram in recent days. The SnapChat app was active for some users and if the user posted something If they were not trying to do so, they did not find it difficult to use the service. Meanwhile, SnapChat was not crashing constantly, which has been a problem with this app.
Later, the SnapChat support Twitter account confirmed that the glitch in the service has been fixed. In this regard, the hashtag #Snapchatdown was also trending on Twitter and memes were also being shared by users when the service was affected. Facebook and Instagram services were affected in the past few days due to which users could not access the service for several hours.
