The changes announced by the Iraqi High Electoral Commission are as follows:
The number of seats won by the Sadr faction was reduced from 73 to 70.
The number of seats in the State of Law coalition led by Nouri al-Maliki increased from 34 to 40.
The number of seats in the Fatah coalition led by Hadi al-Amiri increased from 14 to 20 seats.
The coalition increased the number of seats from 9 to 12.
The number of strong opposition seats was reduced from four to three.
Preliminary election results announced by the Iraqi High Electoral Commission yesterday (Tuesday) have not been accepted by some Iraqi parties, including the Fatah coalition, Hezb-e-Islami and the Patriotic Union of Iraq.

The spokesman for the Iraqi High Electoral Commission, Jemana al-Ghalai, said yesterday in response to allegations of electoral fraud that the voting machines were “advanced systems” and were highly sensitive to any possible irregularities.
Today, Haidar al-Abadi, chairman of the Leadership Council in the strong opposition of al-Dawla and chairman of the Al-Nasr Coalition, criticized the preliminary results announced by the High Electoral Commission and denied the results in a Twitter post.
