Ansarullah member: Free Ma’rib, expels occupiers and recaptures oil resources.
A member of the Ansarullah movement’s political council stressed the need to expel the occupiers from Yemen, saying that the Saudi coalition headquarters is in Marib and that all operations are managed from there.
Mohammad al-Bakhiti, a member of the Yemeni Ansar al-Islam political council, said the liberation of the strategic city of Ma’rib had a major impact on the expulsion of the occupying forces and the recapture of the province’s oil resources, according to the international group Sach News Agency.
Al-Bakhiti told Al-Mayadin News Agency that the Yemeni people will soon be in a state of tension against the aggressor Saudi-Emirati coalition.
“The liberation of the rest of Ma’rib is an important goal for Yemen and will be a turning point and a entry into a new phase … The Saudi coalition’s air hegemony will not last long,” he continued.
The Ansarullah official noted that the Yemeni armed forces are increasing their military capabilities and that the balance of power is changing in favor of Yemen.
Al-Bakhiti told those who are fighting alongside the Saudi coalition that they are fighting the Yemeni forces that they do not want to target them, saying that in the next stage, we will enter the stage of disintegration of the enemy forces.
He announced that the Sanaa plan is still in place for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and various segments of Yemen, and “we urge Saudi Arabia and the UAE to seize this opportunity and make peace immediately; Because our goals are defense and we derive the legitimacy of war from our right to self-defense. “So we will not continue like this and the goals of the war may change.”
These remarks were made after Operation Fajr Victory. The operation took place in the city of Ma’rib, and a spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces made the details of the operation public today. In this operation, 600 square kilometers were liberated.
The Yemeni army and popular committees managed to take control of several villages around al-Juba this morning as they continued their advance in Ma’rib.
Among the villages controlled by the Yemeni army are al-Rawdha and al-Khuwayr, the second village is located next to an important mountain that guarantees the advance of the Yemeni army in the eastern areas of al-Juba near Ma’rib.
The advance of Ansarullah forces in this region took place after their domination of “Jabal al-Mughra”. In the past 24 hours, similar clashes have taken place between Yemeni forces and forces affiliated with the resigned government in the southern city of Al-Abdiya, killing scores of people.
In recent months, the Yemeni army and popular committees have launched a new round of operations to liberate the province and the city of Ma’rib as the heart of the resigned government, and this time they are advancing towards the city from the south and southeast.
Ma’rib province also has a high economic value due to its rich oil and gas resources, and experts say that if the province is fully liberated, the end of the resignation of Mansour Hadi’s government and the Saudi coalition in Yemen should be announced.
