Israeli Interior Minister Ail Shaked traveled to the Abu Dhabi this week to meet with some officials.
According to the Arab 48 news website, Shaked suggested to the UAE Interior Minister Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan that the imams of the Palestinian Jamaat in the 1948 occupied territories (the Zionist regime calls the Palestinians living in the 48 lands Arab citizens in Israel) Train religious moderation, tolerance and struggle against violence.
The report quotes Israel Hume as saying that the appointment of imams and muezzins in 270 mosques in occupied Palestine in 1948 is in the hands of the Zionist regime’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the number of these imams and muezzins reaches 300.
The Israeli Interior Minister also visited Sheikh Zayed Mosque yesterday, following the meetings of Tel Aviv officials with Emirati officials after the agreement on normalization of relations between the two sides.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the fourth largest mosque in the world (after Al-Haram Mosque, Al-Nabi Mosque and Al-Aqsa Mosque).
