Abdul Bari Atwan, a well-known Arab analyst, was quoted in Rai Al-Youm as saying that Lebanese Hezbollah had recently shot down a Zionist drone in the south of the country.
According to the report, the well-known analyst in the Arab world wrote in his article: Last Thursday, Lebanese Hezbollah managed to shoot down an Israeli drone in the “Wadi Maryamin” area in Yatr in southern Lebanon. This action of Hezbollah showed that the Lebanese sky is completely closed to any kind of aircraft that it intends to invade and there is no room for the enemy to maneuver.
“Even the Zionists themselves were forced to admit that their drone had been shot down in southern Lebanon,” Atwan continued. This time, the Zionists could not even claim that their drone had crashed, but admitted that the drone had been shot down. However, a spokesman for the Israeli army said that an investigation had been launched into why the drone had been shot down.
“Of course, the Lebanese Resistance War Information Office has documented images of the downing of a Zionist regime drone, and the Zionists could not conceal such a thing,” the Arabic-language analyst said.
“The downing of the Zionist drone with this precision and impact created a great shock for the military command of the Zionist regime.” The downing of the drone demonstrated Hezbollah’s highly advanced defense capabilities. Of course, this Hezbollah defense strategy is not only about drones, and the resistance can even shoot down Israeli F-16 planes.
He added: “Information received from southern Lebanon shows that the downed Zionist drone was a new and advanced type and Hezbollah managed to land it safely.” Therefore, this drone will provide a treasure trove of important information to Hezbollah and its allies. Earlier, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah had stated that he would not allow the Zionist regime to infiltrate Lebanese airspace. Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah carries out all his threats, and the Zionists are well aware of this.
