Local sources said at least two other Palestinian youths were injured and taken to hospital during the operation.
The sources stated that a large number of Zionist militants carried out a large-scale attack on the Jenin area, besieged a large number of Palestinian homes in the area, and arrested two young men.
According to the report, following the arrest of Palestinian youth and the martyrdom of Alaa Nasser Zayoud, a large-scale conflict broke out in the region between Palestinians and Zionist militants.
Eyewitnesses stated that while the Zionist army was retreating, Nasser Ziud attacked one of the vehicles of the Zionist regime’s special unit at the entrance of Barqin area and then clashed with the soldiers of the occupying regime. After that, the Zionist soldiers started shooting at him, and these shootings continued even after Nasser Zioud was wounded.

Local sources reported that amid the large presence of Zionist settlers at the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque, teachers, guards and all staff at the shrine were not allowed to enter, leaving only the exit doors open for those inside the mosque.
“The Palestinian people will continue to resist and fight as long as even one wajib of their land and its sanctuaries is occupied,” said Youssef al-Husaynah, a member of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement.
It is worth mentioning that the Zionist regime has recently committed a new crime in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. Earlier this week, regime forces attacked the West Bank and Jerusalem, killing five Palestinians.
