Beijing:
Over the past six months, China’s leading smartphone company Huawei has lost 40 billion dollars , and US sanctions are said to have pushed China’s leading technology company Huawei to the brink of collapse.
Eric Shaw, chairman of Huawei, a well-known Chinese technology company, told a news conference that Huawei’s smartphone business had suffered a loss of سے 30-40 billion in the first half of this year. This loss will continue for a few years, mainly due to US sanctions.
Because US sanctions have severely affected Huawei’s smartphone business, which became the world’s number one company in the second quarter of 2020, but now the world is not even in the top 5 in China.
Former US President Donald Trump blacklisted Huawei in May 2019, making access to key US technologies and parts impossible, affecting the company’s ability to design chips. Shaw told a news conference in Beijing that he expects the company to live another five to 10 years.
