NEW YORK: Google, the world’s largest search engine maker, has taken a major step by introducing new tools for people with disabilities.
Google has introduced tools that allow deaf and hard of hearing people to benefit from smart Android phones by raising their eyebrows, smiling or gesturing, AFP reports. ۔
With the help of artificial intelligence technology, Google’s new tools use machine learning and the front camera of smartphones to take action based on the facial expressions and eye movements of users using Android mobile phones.
Disabled users of Android phones will be able to use the features available on mobile using the relevant options of Android phone through lip smile, eyebrow movement, lip and mouth movement or eye gestures which is a great development.
Under the new features, disabled Android phone users will be able to operate mobile phones with camera switches and eye gestures, for which a new application called Project Active has also been introduced. Android phone can be run with the help of facial expressions using the app.
