In another part of his speech, he announced new appointments in the Taliban interim government.
According to him, Haji Nooruddin Azizi, an investor and prominent figure from Panjshir province, has been appointed head of the Ministry of Commerce and Trade. Also, “Sadr Ibrahim” has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Interior and “Mullah Abdul Qayyum Zakir” has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Defense and “Qalandar Ebad” has been appointed as the new head of the Ministry of Health.
Mujahid said that jobs are also provided for women in the government.
The Taliban spokesman also said: “Many countries in the region are in contact with us and their consultations are charitable, but not to the extent that they can interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.”
He noted: The government has considered being the most professional in appointments, which will improve the work and standardize the cabinet.
Regarding the visit of the head of the World Health Organization, Mujahid said: “The visit of the head of the World Health Organization to Kabul on Monday has raised hopes that some issues related to health will be addressed in the near future.”
A Taliban spokesman said the group would support media activities and address problems in some provinces.
