Rumors have been circulating on social media in recent days that a clash between two Taliban factions at the Afghan presidential palace left Abdul Ghani Baradar seriously injured.
The rumors surfaced when Abdul Ghani Baradar did not appear in a video released on Sunday to meet with the Qatari foreign minister, and Taliban Prime Minister Mohammad Hassan Akhund met with the Qatari foreign minister the same day.
