British Counter-Terrorism Authority Immoral Abuse of Spy Cameras.
A British police counter-terrorism official has pleaded guilty to charges of misusing spy cameras.
A London police counterterrorism officer has pleaded guilty to 19 counts of immoral use of spy cameras, according to the political News Agency.
Detective Neil Korbel, 40, who has been suspended from service, is accused of secretly using spy cameras to film women without their permission.
Between January 2017 and February 2020, Korbel used fake accounts to communicate with model women and then used hidden cameras – including hidden alarm clocks, air fresheners and mugs – to capture images of women without their permission.
Pictures of more than 51 women who were victims of Korbel programs have been found on his computer. Nineteen victims have issued statements against him. Some of the victims have been in contact with the British police officer.
London police have said in a statement that Corbel did not commit any immoral acts while on duty, but that he was suspended.
