Islamabad :
During the fourth wave of the global corona virus epidemic in the country, the number of cases is increasing daily and the number of deaths is increasing. More and more cities have been banned.
Therefore, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has extended the scope of application of Corona SOPs to 27 cities in view of the current epidemic situation and increasing pressure on medical facilities. OPs were enforced in 13 cities.
These 27 cities include Islamabad, 11 cities of Punjab including Khanewal, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Bahawalpur, Multan, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Rahim Yar Khan, Hyderabad and Karachi in Sindh, Muzaffarabad and Mirpur in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit. Gilgit and Skardu in Baltistan and Peshawar, Swat, Haripur, Mansehra, Lower Dir, Swabi, Abbottabad, Swat and Chitral in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The number of active cases of corona virus in the country has reached 93,504, while 3,909 cases and 69 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
