Taking an important decision regarding opening of educational institutions in Sindh, the working committee of the education department decided to open schools in Sindh with 50% attendance from Monday and said that children will be allowed to go to school with 3 days interval.
According to details, a meeting of the working committee of the education department was held under the chairmanship of Sindh education secretary on the issue of reopening schools in Sindh from Monday.
The meeting decided that children would be allowed to go to school with an interval of 3 days and all schools would be obliged to invite one group and three other groups for 3 days while the parents would have to submit a certificate to the school.
The committee said that teachers and staff of all educational institutions would come with 100% vaccination. It may be recalled that the Sindh Education Department had allowed schools with 100% vaccination to open with 50% attendance from August 30.
Education Minister Sardar Shah had also said that vaccination of parents including staff was mandatory and parents of students would have to submit their vaccination cards to the school administration and SOPs would have to be followed for staff and students in the school.
Private school associations had said they would submit a report on vaccination. Private schools asked parents for a vaccination certificate by e-mail, instructing parents of private schools to submit a vaccination certificate by August 28.
