In addition, the federal government has announced financial assistance to farmers for business, Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen said, adding that interest-free loans and financial assistance for business will be provided to farmers, 4 million lower class families included in the successful Pakistan program. While providing interest free loans and business assistance to farmers, the people of the provinces will also be covered by Universal Health Insurance.
In this regard, a meeting on Successful Pakistan Program was held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen, which was attended by Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Usman Dar, Head of National Bank and senior officials. It was decided in principle, the government has allocated a budget of billions of rupees and interest free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh will be given. It was decided in the meeting that housing projects, skill development and easy loans will be brought under the banner of successful Pakistan. It was also decided to make health cards and agricultural services part of the successful Pakistan program.
Speaking at the meeting, Usman Dar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Youth, said that the Prime Minister has directed nationwide public welfare measures and has completed consultations with the Finance Minister and the program will be launched in a few days.
