Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that for the first time in Pakistan, his government will hold elections whose results will be accepted by all. Transparency of elections is the only use of technology and as a result of its use we will avoid all illegal activities.
Addressing a function at the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) headquarters in Islamabad, he said there were 3.3 million Afghan refugees in the country, but there were many more who were unregistered.
He said that those who do not have any identity become non-citizens, because of the rare alien issuing registration cards, they will come into the mainstream. He further said that with the help of this card, they They will be able to do business, keep money in banks and become part of the economy and avoid illegal activities.
The Prime Minister said that I believe that technology is the solution to all the frauds that take place in the society and in the elections. ۔
He added that the reason for this would be that the technology would be connected to the data and all the work like stamping, filling ballot boxes, registering 100, 100 fake votes from each house would be done away with. The Prime Minister said that as soon as electronic voting machines come along with tele-data of NADRA, we will hold elections of the 21st century.
