Announcing the creation of Media Technology University for the development of media, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that in the past wars were fought by force but now the war of public opinion is fought. Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan sacrificed 70,000 lives in the war on terror but no book has been written on it till date. He said that 1960 curriculum is being taught in 42 journalism schools in the country and people in the world have done PhD in lights and sounds but we do not have such people available far away.
The Information Minister said that for the first time a Media Technology University is being set up for the development of media, in which various fields of media including animation, visual effects and filmmaking and camera work will be taught, as well as 1500 internships in media. Will be given.
